EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier will meet directly with the Core Cities’ leaders and mayors after their efforts to engage the UK Government were snubbed.
The Core Cities group, which represents the UK’s biggest cities outside London, went directly to Europe after claiming its requests to speak with Brexit minister David Davis were ignored.
