Leader vows to end decade-old equal pay dispute

Glasgow City Council’s leader has vowed to end ‘years of pay injustice’ at the council and settle the thousands of claims of mostly low-paid women workers.

Some 6,000 equal pay claims are outstanding, many of which date back to 2006.
