Lib Dems fight for post-Grenfell action

The effective ‘privatisation’ of building control has led to a watering down of fire safety checks, the Lib Dems have claimed.

Lib Dems are fighting for sufficient funding from Whitehall to pay for the improvements to tower blocks that will be needed across the UK once the government-commissioned review of building regulations has concluded.
