Pre-tax profits at Kier Group have soared by 45%, as another local government contractor, Mitie, warns results will be ‘significantly lower’ than previously thought.
Kier announced its pre-tax profits have risen from £86m in 2014/15 to £125m in 2015/16 while revenue increased from £3.4bn to £4.2bn over the same time period.
