NHB reforms 'could hit housing growth'

Reforms to the New Homes Bonus (NHB) outlined in the provisional local government finance settlement could stunt future housing growth, the District Councils’ Network (DCN) has warned.

Last month communities secretary Sajid Javid announced that hundreds of millions of pounds from the NHB would be diverted to upper-tier councils to release funding for social care.
