A new approach to sector-led improvement for children’s services could be announced next month, The MJ understands.
It is believed a minister could use an appearance at the National Children and Adult Services Conference in Bournemouth to outline the Department for Education’s approach to improvement after talks with the Local Government Association, the Association of Directors of Children’s Services and Society of Local Authority Chief Executives.
