Contractor Capita has been forced to repay £2m to Barnet LBC following an alleged fraud by an ex-member of staff within joint venture project Re.
Capita, whose two major contracts with Barnet are under review amid concerns over the firm’s performance, has also underwritten the loss ahead of a court case at which the individual charged with the alleged fraud will stand trial.
