75% unaware of forthcoming mayoral elections

Three-quarters of voters know ‘little or nothing’ about the forthcoming mayoral elections, new research has found.

With just six weeks to go until powerful new mayors are elected in six areas, a poll by consultancy PwC discovered just one in four believed elected mayors will have a positive impact locally.
