Acquisition delivers revenue boost for Mears

Mears’ acquisition of a rival social housing business has helped drive up its revenues so far this year.

Its results for the first half of 2019 showed revenue increased by 10% compared to last year, at £481m, although profit before tax fell 10% to £17m in line with expectations.
