While the pantomime of Brexit rumbles on, it’s sobering to recall that in just over one month’s time we hit the latest deadline to withdraw from the European Union – come what may, if Boris is to be believed.
Despite all the contingency planning, panels and boards, we are still no closer to knowing what is going on – except perhaps that the Labour and Conservative parties continue to tear themselves apart as they focus on internal politics rather than the wider policy picture.
