Audit scale fees for 2020/21 have been frozen though there could still be rises for individual councils ahead.
Public Sector Audit Appointments (PSAA), the organisation responsible for setting fees for councils that have opted into its national scheme, said it did not have ‘sufficient reliable information that would enable us to adjust the scale of fees for 2020/21’.
