Axing of PHE is opportunity to 'reframe' health protection

Public Health England’s (PHE) axing offers a chance for health protection to be ‘reframed’ and an opportunity for local government to ‘get into that place,’ an expert has said.

PHE is to be replaced by a new National Institute for Health Protection, formed out of the merger of PHE, the Joint Biodiversity Centre and NHS Test and Trace.
