Birmingham leader demands clarity on coronavirus failures

The leader of Birmingham City Council has written to the Government seeking urgent clarity on plans to deliver food to vulnerable residents amid the coronavirus crisis.

Cllr Ian Ward also demanded to know what will happen with funding, as the council’s share of the £1.6bn announced to deal with COVID-19 has been 'spent twice over and we have not yet reached the peak’.
