Birmingham's bin injunction bid thrown out

Birmingham City Council has lost its High Court bid for an injunction to stop a strike by bin workers.

Speaking after the judgement, the council’s cabinet member for clean streets, waste and recycling, Cllr Brett O’Reilly, urged the trade unions to return to talks.
