Combined authorities must work with local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) to overcome the ‘institutional blurring’ of responsibilities that threaten to undermine growth prospects, experts have warned.
A joint study published today by consultancy Grant Thornton and law firm Bond Dickinson described the early performance of combined authorities as ‘varied’.
