Brexit and councils will be on the Tory conference agenda

Conservative councillors will arrive in Manchester for our annual party conference in good spirits having consolidated our position as the largest party in local government, and also the largest group here at the Local Government Association (LGA), following the excellent local elections results that we achieved across the country in May.

The LGA Conservative Group will, as usual, have a strong presence at the conference with a large number of our leading members speaking at a wide range of events organised by partner organisations throughout the week.
