Brexit will have 'profound implications' for public services

The UK’s withdrawal from the European Union will have ‘profound’ implications for public services, but should be viewed as a catalyst for reform, experts have claimed.

Research into the likely impact of Brexit by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) published today concluded that, due to the profound legal, technical and financial implications for public services the ‘impact on the sector must be kept in the foreground as the UK renegotiates its relationship with the EU’.
