Brokenshire pushed on Brexit

Local government has presented communities secretary James Brokenshire with a list of Brexit-related issues that need immediate solutions.

Speaking at the Local Government Association’s (LGA) annual conference in Birmingham today, chair of Smith Square’s Brexit taskforce, Cllr Kevin Bentley, claimed that, despite wider uncertainty about UK progress in its negotiations with Brussels, local government’s voice was now being heard.
