‘Crucial issues’ with the running of Birmingham City Council raised by Lord Kerslake in a report four years ago have ‘not been tackled quickly enough,’ the authority has been told.
After the publication of a stocktake report today, chair of the independent improvement panel, John Crabtree, warned time was ‘running out’ and called for ‘real progress’.
