It is an exciting time for South Tyneside MBC, leader of the council, Cllr Iain Malcolm and Cllr Paul Watson, leader of Sunderland City Council who signed our joint City Deal with cities minister Greg Clark a few weeks ago.
We have also started phase one of our ambitious South Shields 365 Town Centre regeneration scheme and we’re looking forward to another outstanding summer for tourism.
