Bury set to meet over suspensions of officials

Bury MBC will discuss the future of three suspended senior officials – including chief executive Mike Owen – next week.

The council’s human resources and appeals panel will convene on Monday 19 June to hear any disciplinary issues that may have arisen following an independent legal review of the officers’ handling of allegations that a councillor made indecent images of children.
