CIPFA seeks views on update of code

A consultation has been launched on whether the prudential code should be extended to cover new mayoral combined authorities.

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) has launched a wide-ranging consultation on the code, which is designed to ensure that local authority capital investment plans are affordable and sustainable.
