Call over Chinese CCTV firms used by three-quarters of councils

A cross-party group of 67 Parliamentarians have backed a call to ban the sale and operation of CCTV from Chinese manufacturers Hikvision and Dahua.

Human rights concerns have been raised over the firms, which are used by almost three-quarters of the UK’s local authorities.
