Care directors 'disappointed' by funding threat

Adult social care directors have been left ‘very disappointed’ after the Government threatened to take away funding from areas that failed to reduce bed blocking.

Health secretary Jeremy Hunt yesterday said the Government would consider reviewing how the extra funding announced in the Budget would be allocated in 2018/19 for ‘areas that are poorly performing’.
