As the local government finance settlement consultation drew to a close last week, there was increasing pressure mounting on the Government to do more than just the usual minor tweaks to the numbers before rolling it out across the sector.
Calls for a dampening grant have been issued by the counties, the districts and the LGA as technical changes have had a massive impact on the figures.
