Children's service overspend hits council budget

Torbay Council exceeded its revenue budget by £1.7m in the past financial year, a report has revealed.

At a meeting due to be held this evening, councillors will be told that the authority ended 2017/18 with a revenue budget overspend, forcing Torbay to dip into its reserves.
