City council approves major management restructure

Aberdeen City Council has approved a major management restructure in a bid to ease funding pressures and bolster service delivery.

The council narrowly voted through the new ‘target operating model’ - designed to move the authority to a more corporate model in an attempt to save £280,000 a year.
