City deals among promises in DUP-Conservative deal

Fresh devolved powers for Northern Ireland form a key part of today’s £1bn deal between the minority Conservative government and the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP).

Documents published by the Government revealed the price the Conservative leadership has paid in order to secure the Parliamentary support of the 10 DUP MPs that will deliver a Commons majority on a ‘confidence and supply basis’.
