Just down from my house, on an otherwise ordinary residential road in my constituency, stands something quite remarkable.
Halfway along, on a small, unassuming bench lies a plaque commemorating Reverend I.E. Davidson and Mrs L.E. Davidson. Together, they helped rescue 68 Jewish children from central Europe in 1939, relocating them to Chislehurst.
