Cllr’s collapse halts Driver vote of no confidence

Lancashire CC is poised to complete its management restructure after a vote of no confidence in its leader was withdrawn following a tragedy-hit council meeting.

Cllr Geoff Driver, Lancashire’s Conservative leader, survived a planned no confidence motion when an independent councillor suffered a heart attack in a council meeting last week.
