Communities need real power and influence over how their health is approached

Those in and around local government might react with caution when the word ‘place’ echoes from Government strategies.

It’s great when those making policy in Whitehall recognise their plans inevitably land somewhere with people who must make them work. But an understanding of the realities of different places and the practicalities of delivery can prove elusive.
