Coronavirus deaths yet to peak in 18 council areas

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has identified 18 local authority areas that are yet to see a peak in the number of deaths due to COVID-19.

Although the number of people dying is reducing nationally, some regions of the country have seen the highest figures for victims in the pandemic so far in the latest weekly statistics.
