The chief executive of the council working to contain coronavirus within a vegetable farm in Herefordshire has hailed a national change of policy.
Following fears that farmers across the country were suppressing knowledge of COVID-19 symptoms in their workforces to avoid their business being shut down, Herefordshire Council chief executive, Alistair Neill, told The MJ a change in policy allowing contacts of positive cases to continue working would make a ‘huge difference’.
