Council looks to private sector to spur social housebuilding

Derbyshire Dales DC is considering forming a joint venture to accelerate the building of affordable housing in the district.

The Limited Liability Partnership would bring in a private firm to help exploit the council’s surplus land and building assets to provide affordable housing and employment, and spur regeneration.
