Whitehall’s lack of focus and co-ordination ‘hampered’ councils’ preparations for Brexit in the run-up to April 12, a Local Government Association (LGA) report to a meeting today has said.
The report to a meeting of the LGA’s executive said the sector had been concerned by the ‘plethora of advice and communications’ from departments.
