Council scraps chief's role as part of transformation

Shepway DC is scrapping the role of chief executive as part of a transformation project that aims to streamline and reshape the council.

The transformation will lead to the voluntary redundancy of Alistair Stewart, who will leave at the end of this month after more than 13 years.
