Councils need an EU workforce deal to cope with staff shortages, says CIPFA Brexit report
A Government ‘bespoke’ deal with the EU on workforce regulations and freedom of movement will be essential in order to help local authorities avoid chronic staff shortages arising from the ‘seismic’ impact of Brexit, according to a report by a high-level CIPFA advisory team.
