Councils should be funded to co-design child mental health hubs - report

Councils across the country should be funded to co-design open-access hubs to support young people’s mental health, a new report by think-tank Reform has suggested.

The report on the crisis in young people’s mental health read: ‘Responsibility for any national rollout would better sit with local authorities than the Department of Health and Social Care, given the proximity of the former to the communities they serve and the aspiration to move away from clinical models of support.’
