Councils to get £300,000 for obesity pilots

The Government has decided to award five local authorities £300,000 each to trial programmes to tackle childhood obesity.

Bradford City Council, Blackburn with Darwen Council, Nottinghamshire CC, Lewisham LBC, and Birmingham City Council will each receive £100,000 a year for three years.
