Lancashire CC is considering closer collaboration with the NHS to avoid duplicating service provision and to cut costs.
In an overview and scrutiny committee report, members noted a working group will be established to identify areas where there is an overlap with the NHS and where the council can develop better co-ordination to help plug its £144m finding gap by 2021/22.
