The District Councils’ Network (DCN) will lobby the Government for certainty on the future baseline rate, below which councils will not receive the New Homes Bonus (NHB).
DCN was left ‘very disappointed’ when communities secretary Sajid Javid last week confirmed a raid on the bonus in an attempt to prop up adult social care.
