Data sharing ‘will boost public sector evolution’

Public sector transformation could be given a boost after the Government revealed plans in the Queen’s Speech to allow more sharing of data across authorities.

Data barriers and the inability to pass information between organisations has repeatedly been identified as one of the issues hampering public sector transformation projects.
