This year, Croydon LBC won The MJ Achievement Award for Delivering Better Outcomes for its brilliant Gateway programme.
Croydon developed the programme to prepare for the impact of welfare reform by using data to identify families at risk and advise them of support they could get. They then ensured that council support services were co-ordinated to best support them.
