Deadline laid down for councillors’ improvement

Members at Moray Council have been given a year to show ‘strong cohesive leadership’ by a local government watchdog.

The Accounts Commission has ordered Audit Scotland to ‘monitor the situation closely’ after expressing concern that the momentum of improvements made by officers could be lost.
