Deprivation key to fair funding - Core Cities

Student numbers, deprivation, density and pollution should all be recognised by the Government when it draws up new spending formulas, the Core Cities have argued.

In its response to a consultation, the organisation, which represents the UK’s 10 biggest cities, said it was worried that the Government had so far not proposed including density in its new funding formula.
