Buckinghamshire districts have vowed to fight plans for a single unitary council for the county after they were backed by local government secretary Sajid Javid.
A joint statement from the districts said they were ‘extremely disappointed’ that Mr Javid had rejected their competing proposal for two unitary councils based on a north/south split.
