Dwayne Johnson appointed as Sefton chief

Sefton Council has formally approved the appointment of Dwayne Johnson as its new chief executive and head of paid service.

Mr Johnson is currently director of social care and health at Sefton, a post he has held since 2014, and will replace Margaret Carney when she retires at the end of May after a decade at the helm.
