The District Councils’ Network (DCN) is planning a membership fee hike to increase its influence and fund an ‘ambitious’ expansion of its campaigning activity.
Under the proposed new regime, the average membership fee would increase by 76% to more than £3,000 in 2022-23, bringing the network closer to the amount charged by the Local Government Association and County Councils’ Network.
