Lord Bob Kerslake has backed the idea of the UK setting up a publicly owned body to help rebuild Ukraine, but he believes it should be the country’s own people who take the lead on reconstruction.
The former head of the civil service was responding to a proposal put forward in The MJ earlier this month (April 12) for a new ‘Ukrainian Reconstruction Organisation (URO)’ body to rebuild Ukraine.
