Whitehall Brexit operations centres sprang into action yesterday as the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) put itself on a no-deal footing.
On Monday, MHCLG’s resilience and emergencies division and the Department for Education both ‘stood up’ their operations centres, charged with daily gathering and reporting of emerging risks ahead of the October 31 Brexit deadline.
